And they're OFF! by Catharine (Part 2)

Edward and Jane from Halcyon hosted us as Turnagain's official spectator boat.  I'm so grateful they were up to the task, as it really gave me some closure to officially see them start the race and disappear over the horizon.

They had near perfect conditions for the start.  15-20 knt winds and sunshine!

The official start of Vic Maui 2014!  Awesome start.  Turicum took the lead, with Turnagain a close second. 

There go Turicum and Turnagain.  Despite the start being upwind (not Turnagain's best wind angle), they started off really strong.  So strong, in fact, that we couldn't keep up to watch them for long!

This is the last we'll see of them for awhile...bon voyage!
